Bodies of Water

Part Two

If our last post on beautiful bodies of water around the world didn’t convince you to book your next aquatic vacation, we’re sure this week will. Here at Quality Water Services, we’re obsessed with high quality water in terms for not only consumption, but for viewing purposes as well. All around the world there are bodies of clear, vivid, and colorful water, and we’re here to explore the second half of our top favorites.

the Egremnoi beach, one of many beautiful bodies of water

Egremnoi, Greece

Not only the most beautiful beach on the Greek island, Egremnoi beach (also known as Egremni beach) is also one of the most jaw dropping beaches in the Mediterranean. Nearly two miles long, the beach is large enough to never feel overcrowded. The waters are so blue that some visitors even claim the sky and the ocean perfectly blend together with matching hues. Sadly, after an earthquake in 2015, the beach was nearly destroyed. After nearly three years, parts of the beach have been restored, and can now be enjoyed again.

Crater Lake, The United States

Considered one of the seven wonders of Oregon, Crater Lake rests inside a giant crater (surprising, we know.) Surrounded by cliffs almost 2,000 feet high, it’s no wonder people plan entire trips around hiking adventures to see this beautiful body of water. Be warned that in the winter months the cold conditions become extreme. The park recommends tourists plan their visits between the months of early July to mid-September for prime (and safe) conditions.

Con Son, Vietnam

This remote location in Vietnam made our list thanks to its extreme isolation and preservation. Con Son is practically pristine, with 80% of the land still forested. Once used for a penal colony, it’s unsavory past has encouraged locals to refrain from exploiting it’s beauty for tourist revenue. If you’re looking for not only a beautiful body of water, but a nearly entirely remote location, book your flight to Con Son for the warm summer months to avoid the dry heat in the winter months.

With 16 different lakes all terraced together surrounded by canyons and waterfalls, you’ll be entranced with beauty for your entire trip. You’ll be bragging to all of your friends and family about all of the things you saw and learned about the country of Croatia just by visiting these natural lakes.

Ambergris Caye, Belize

Ambergris Caye is Belize’s largest island, and is easily accessible from the mainland. The locals are extremely proud of their vibrant island paradise, and welcome tourists in as a way to help support their 25-mile long island.
